DATO’ DR. KANTHA RASALINGAM

Dato’ Dr. Kantha Rasalingam is a highly trained and experienced neurosurgeon who completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India in 1997. He later joined the masters of Neurosurgery Program in Malaysia and completed his Neurosurgery Post Graduate exams in 2006. He has been practicing as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Kuala Lumpur Hospital and has a keen interest in spinal surgery.
Dato’ Dr. Kantha has a long list of accomplishments and is involved in many professional organizations. He is the President of the ASEAN Neurosurgical Society and a Committee Member of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies. He has organized numerous courses in both brain and spine and was the Organizing Chairman for the 1st Neurospine Congress. He also conducts yearly spinal courses for training postgraduates and young neurosurgeons. He is the current Secretary of the Neurosurgical Association of Malaysia and an Examiner for the Masters of Neurosurgery Exams. He is also a honorary lecturer for MAHSA and University Pertahanan Malaysia.
